Compliance

Aligned, auditable, accountable.

Where we sit in Kenya's regulatory landscape, and how we behave by design. This is the document our security and legal teams will hand to your due-diligence reviewer.

KDPA alignment

Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019.

Lawful basis

Every data category we collect is mapped to a lawful basis. We do not over-collect.

Data minimisation

Role-bound collection. We never collect 'just-in-case' data.

Data subject rights

Access, rectification, erasure, and portability — operationalised, not just policy.

Cross-border transfers

Documented transfer mechanisms and a default of in-country processing where viable.

IEBC-aware

Modelled to Kenya's electoral hierarchy.

Region model

47 counties, 290 constituencies, 1,448 wards — modelled natively with versioned seed data.

Position model

President, Governor, Senator, Women Rep, MP, MCA — each anchored to the correct region scope.

Non-adjudicating

We do not count votes or adjudicate outcomes. We are awareness, not authority.

Stable URLs for public profiles

Cite-friendly URLs that civic observers can rely on across an election cycle.

AI usage policy

Our public AI-use stance, in plain language.

We do not train on customer content. Aspirant data, party data, and volunteer data are never used to train external models.

We do not generate content for broadcast. Civicore's AI summarises and surfaces — it never publishes or schedules on a user's behalf.

AI is off by default during election week. In the final 14 days, generative features are disabled by policy across all customers.

Every AI insight is citable. Each insight links back to the underlying records. Black-box recommendations are not acceptable in civic infrastructure.

Run the campaign your country deserves.

Coordinated. Transparent. Peaceful. Civicore is the platform Kenya's political ecosystem has been waiting for.
