About Civicore

A small Kenyan team. A serious civic mission.

Civicore was founded on a simple idea: Kenya's political institutions deserve modern, transparent, peace-respecting infrastructure — built here, built for here.

Our story

Why we built Civicore.

We watched our own family members, our friends, and a generation of Kenyan campaign workers run elections on WhatsApp groups, spreadsheets, and notebooks. We watched good people lose to organisation, and bad behaviour spread faster than good behaviour could be coordinated.

Civicore is the platform we wished existed. It is a civic-tech operating system that quietly, calmly, and accountably makes campaigns work better — without becoming a political actor itself.

Civicore is the operational core for democratic campaigns — the infrastructure parties and aspirants run on when the stakes are highest. Our north star: every Kenyan with a legitimate political voice should have the tools to express it.

Our principles

Four commitments that govern every decision.

Independence

We do not endorse parties. We do not endorse candidates. We work with anyone who signs the peace pledge.

Transparency by default

Our trust posture, security policy, and peace commitments are public documents. Not gated PDFs.

Civic respect

Kenya's democratic institutions are older than Civicore will ever be. We treat them with the seriousness they deserve.

Made in Kenya, for Kenya

We are a Kenyan team. We will not export this platform until we have served our own country well.

Leadership

Who is behind Civicore.

Our leadership and advisory team will be published on this page ahead of the next election cycle. We will not list anyone without their explicit, written consent.

Run the campaign your country deserves.

Coordinated. Transparent. Peaceful. Civicore is the platform Kenya's political ecosystem has been waiting for.
